Penny Burtt
President, Boeing Southeast Asia

Penny Burtt is the president for Boeing Southeast Asia. She is responsible for strengthening Boeing’s operations, strategy and presence across Southeast Asia as well as supporting the company’s growth opportunities across the region. She is Chair of Boeing Singapore Pte. Ltd. and President Director of PT. Boeing Indonesia.
Penny brings to the role more than 25 years of experience in diplomacy, trade, international business, and consulting across four continents. She has a deep understanding of the region, having served as a senior Australian diplomat across Southeast Asia and as former Group CEO of Asialink, Australia's leading center for Asia engagement. Previously, Penny held Asia leadership positions at Stripe, Visa, and McKinsey & Company.
Penny has served as an Executive Board Member with key business associations and nonprofits in the Asia-Pacific. She is a Board member of the U.S.-ASEAN Business Council, the U.S.-Indonesia Society (USINDO) and serves on the international Advisory Council of the University of Sydney Business School. Penny is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of International Affairs (AIIA) and an Adjunct Fellow with Gateway House, India’s Council on Foreign Relations.
Passionate about women’s leadership, Penny serves on the Board of Harpswell, an organization which supports women's leadership initiatives in Southeast Asia and is a member of Chief Executive Women (CEW) Australia.
Penny is a graduate of the University of Sydney with an honors degree in Economics and Political Science. She has a post graduate degree in Foreign Affairs and Trade from the Australian National University. Burtt completed her executive leadership program from the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business.
