-          The Boeing University Innovation Leadership Development (BUILD) program will work with Indonesian students, recent graduates and early-stage founders to develop innovative solutions in aerospace and defense, including technologies that support sustainability and social impact. 
 -          Top three teams will receive US$12,500 in total and six months of support at ITB to build their ideas.

BANDUNG, Indonesia, May 4, 2026 — Boeing [NYSE: BA] and Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB) today launched the BUILD Indonesia 2026, a collaboration aimed at developing aerospace and technology innovators in Indonesia.

“BUILD reflects Boeing’s long-term commitment to Indonesia and our investment in local talent,” said Indra Duivenvoorde, managing director for Boeing Indonesia. “Bandung has played a pivotal role in the history of Indonesia’s aerospace industry with its engineering and technology universities. Through our collaboration with ITB, we aim to equip the next generation of Indonesian innovators with the skills, networks, and global perspectives needed to contribute to the country’s growing aerospace and technology ecosystem.”

The program connects participants with Boeing experts, industry mentors and ITB’s innovation ecosystem through an experiential learning model that includes workshops, mentoring sessions, boot camps and idea incubation support. Running from May through September 2026, BUILD is designed to help participants validate and refine market-relevant ideas, culminating in a final demonstration and award ceremony.
